Ministry of the Trinity Social Justice Institute, Inc. that provides mentoring
support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons and their

- Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League
(SMYAL) - A youth service agency serving the metropolitan area of
Washington, DC, including Maryland and Northern Virginia. Their mission is to
support and enhance the self-esteem of sexual minority youth - any youth
(13-21) who is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (lgbt), or who may be
questioning their sexuality - and to increase public awareness and
understanding of their issues.
- SMYRC - A nonprofit agency that
provides a drop-in center for lesbian, bi, trans, gay, questioning youth, and
their allies, aged 23 and under. People come to play pool, use computers,
access resources, use the library, meet people, make art, and just have fun!
SMYRC provides leadership opportunities to youth through the Youth Steering
Committee, a representative body of LGBTQ youth who directly benefit from this
agency. SMYRC is a program of Vanguard Youth Services and Network Behavioral
HealthCare, Inc.
