Rev. Dr. Don Sinclair: racism, Selma, and the march to Montgomery

by Becky Jones

How many people do you know that marched with Dr. Martin Luther King to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965?  Come to church on Sunday, look toward the middle of the pews on the right side of the sanctuary.

There sit Don and Kathy Sinclair.  Don marched and Kathy stayed home with four little boys praying that her husband and their father would live to come home to them.  Not many white Methodist ministers were there.  Watch as Rev. Sinclair tells how he encountered racism as a five year-old boy and  why he has never been the same.  You may not be the same after watching.
