Rev. Dr. Don Sinclair served as senior pastor at Bering Memorial from 1986 – 1996.  Don and his wife, Kathy, arrived at a struggling church that was $70,000 in debt, with membership dwindling as families moved to the suburbs, in a neighborhood in transition and in the epicenter of the AIDS crisis, as they were dealing with a crisis in their own family.  The murder of their son.

Bering Memorial UMC has a legacy of healing.  Watch as Rev. Sinclair recounts his amazing decade of service and the healing that took place in the people of Bering, Houston, the United States, and the world.
